We reduce our carbon footprint by choosing not to stock bottled water. We offer still, sparkling or chilled filtered water at £1 (optional) per table. Shiuli is proud to serve BELU water, whose motto is to change the way the world sees water. They are a social enterprise and 100% of their profits go to Water Aid, helping our planet and people thrive.
One Planet plate: We highlight our most planet-friendly dish, the Roasted Broccoli, for those who wish to vote with the fork.
We are proud to be a part of The Sustainable Restaurants Association, and endorse their purpose: To accelerate change toward an environmentally restorative and socially progressive hospitality sector.
CREW Energy conducted a carbon offset audit in 2023 and we have implemented several of their suggestions for a greener strategy for the business. This has helped us track food waste, prep waste and plate waste. In 2024 we are working on the next level of our sustainability journey with Green Mark.
