Pet Policy Update 18 Mar 26: We love our four-legged friends and have proudly been pet friendly since we opened. Following recent incidents and guest feedback, we’ve made an adjustment to our policy to ensure the best possible experience for all guests. Pets will continue to be welcome Sunday to Wednesday (excluding event and rugby days). Should you wish to bring your pet, please let us know in advance so we can allocate a suitable table. We want to remain both welcoming and considerate to everyone dining with us, and we truly appreciate your understanding and support.

What are your signature dishes? Shiuli’s signature dishes feature a delicious Burrata Chaat, Amritsari fish with samphire pakoras, Courgette flower with dahi kabab, Salad puchkas, Black kale saag paneer, Seabass &crabmeat moilee, Skinny makhni chicken, Lamb shank roganjosh, Truffle sea salt naan, Bone marrow butter naan, Sensations of mango and more. Our iconic dishes on the menu are marked with orange flowers.
Do you offer delivery or takeaway? Shiuli offer’s delivery via Deliveroo and offers collections via the website.
What is a One Planet Plate? The Sustainable Restaurant Association introduced the ‘One Planet Plate’ campaign, encouraging chefs and restaurants to spotlight their most sustainable dish. Shiuli has proudly featured Roasted Broccoli as its One Planet Plate since the very first service. This dish embodies Shiuli’s food philosophy of Happy, Healthy, and Delicious. Broccoli is of course, a superfood, sourced locally from the UK, with a minimal carbon footprint. At Shiuli, the broccoli stems are also creatively utilised in Salad puchkas and team dinners, ensuring zero waste from this produce, making it our most sustainable offering.
Do you cater for weddings? We love hosting weddings at Shiuli and curating delicious feasts and memories for the guests. We are also certified caterers at York House and Orleans Gallery ,and can cater outside of the restaurant as well.
Do you have private rooms or cater to large groups? Shiuli has 2 semi private rooms that can seat up to 12 or 20 guests or sections that can seat up to 35 guests. We also offer private hire of restaurant for 100 guests.
Do you do buffet on events like birthdays or weddings? Shiuli offers special group set menus for events, which can be fully customised and which showcase our cooking in the best possible way. The food is presented to share at the table and is not buffet style. For larger groups we also offer canapés, bowl food and dessert stations if required.
What is it like at the restaurant on Rugby Day and what do you serve? On International or big Rugby match days, we offer a set menu for lunch and a reduced version of the a la carte menu for post-match bookings. Do you have menu for Vegetarian/Vegan? Shiuli offers a bespoke vegetarian menu with plentiful vegan selection! Dishes are marked Vegan V and for Vegan option VO. You can view it on our Menu page or ask your server.
Are you child friendly and do you have a children’s menu? Shiuli is very family friendly and children of all ages are very welcome. We have a little menu for them featuring dishes that very enjoyable for children. Suggested dishes: Malai chicken, Steamed momos, Edamame, Amritsari fish, Chicken khorma, Mild butter chicken, Cheese naan, Roasted broccoli, Herb grilled salmon and more. Our team will be able to happy to guide you more when you are seated.
Do you have a set menu? Yes, Shiuli offers 2 course set menus for £18 and 3 courses for £22. They are available: Mon-Sat 5-6pm early dinner and Fri-Sat lunch from12-2pm. We have a Sunday set menu £25 for 2 courses available 12-4pm. It is only available for up to 6 guests. The table can mix and match, if some guests would like A la carte menu and some Set menu.
Do you have a Tasting Menu? Shiuli’s Chef Tasting Menus are very popular and change every two months to showcase delicious seasonality. A lovely way to experience some truly special, off-the-menu creations. Our current tasting menu is titled ‘Once Upon A Time.’ We also offer drinks pairings and alcohol-free pairings as well. Tasting menu has to be chosen for the whole table and for up to 6 guests.
Do you serve Halal meats? All meats at Shiuli are Halal except for Duck (for Samosa).
Can I bring my own cake? Yes, and we will be happy to present it for you. For tables of over 6 guests, there is a cake charge of £1 per guest). No charge for smaller tables.
Can I bring my own wine? On Mondays, Shiuli offers a BYO with a corkage of £10 per bottle of any size. It is not offered this on event days that fall on a Monday.
Do you serve bottled water? Shiuli has filtered taps from Belu, offering chilled still and sparkling water (not normal tap water). The taps are serviced regularly and the water is very safe to consume. We are proud to partner with Belu Water to serve unlimited, filtered, still or sparkling water @ £1 (optional) per table of any size. We reduce our carbon footprint by not stocking bottled water. Belu’s profits go to Water Aid. This charge is fully discretionary and if you were not aware, we are very happy to remove the £1 charge from the bill.
Are you air conditioned? Yes Shiuli is fully air conditioned.
Is parking easily available? Yes, there is free parking after 630pm Mon-Sat and all-day Sundays and Bank holidays, on the paid bays on the high street, side streets. Please do check signage in situ, for the latest update.
Do I need reservation or can I walk in? We highly recommend making a reservation to secure your preferred time, especially on busy days (Fridays, Saturdays, Events). However, we do always welcome walk-ins and will do our best to accommodate you.
Do you have wheelchair access? Shiuli is wheelchair friendly and can provide a ramp at the main entrance that brings you into the dining room. The restroom has one step at the entrance. Please let us know ahead of time so we can arrange an appropriate table.
Do you have tables in quieter areas? Shiuli has sound absorption panels installed all over the restaurant to improve the quality of your sonic experience.
Can I reserve a table by the window? Seating is on a first come first serve basis. While we cannot guarantee specific table assignments, we will make a note of your preference and do our very best to accommodate you upon arrival.
What is the cancellation policy? We operate a policy only on Friday and Saturday evenings and on special events such as Rugby, Mother’s day etc. For Fri/Sat evenings, we require a card to secure the booking with a holding deposit of £10 per guest. No-shows or late cancellations (less than 24 hours to reservation time) will be subject to a nominal charge of £10 per guest. For any reason including medical, we are unable to offer a refund, reduction or re-use of the late cancellation/no-show fees. We thank you for your understanding in this regard. Other events terms may vary but all detailed information is available on the booking page on our website.

Is there a dress code: While we don’t have a dress code, guests usually come in smart attire.
How often do you do Master Classes? Shiuli offers Masterclasses one Sunday a month, most months (except August and November), between 10.30am-1.30pm, followed by a 3 course lunch. Do you accept cash, cards, American Express? Yes, we do.
Do you offer gift cards? Shiuli offers a range of giftcards: 1. Cash vouchers for any amount of your choice (starting from £25) 2. £60 for 3 course lunch and a glass of wine pp, for 2 guests from the set menu. 3. Tasting menu voucher £89 per guest. 4. Ticket to our cookery class. These are available on the Shop page of our website. You can choose to send via email or physical voucher.
Can I come to the restaurant to buy a voucher? Yes of course, please do know we don’t stock physical vouchers in the restaurant. They have to be purchased online. If you prefer to do it in the restaurant, we can help you do it online and print the voucher for you and gift ribbon it for you.
Do you have any offers? We offer discounts via My Richmond’s Love Local Card on dine-in and collections and also offer 10% discount on collections via our website with the code SH10COL.
Is there outdoor or patio seating? Shiuli has outdoor and patio seating that operates in warmer weather. Join us for al fresco drinks or dining.
